I inherited my brother’s home in Calgary and knew that there was a lot of work to do prior to listing it. Being from Edmonton, my husband and I were not looking forward to traveling back and forth all winter to renovate. I found a flyer for Leger Home Buyers in the mail and decided to email them one evening for more information. Josh called me first thing the next morning and we had come to a very fair deal by noon. They told us that we could leave whatever we didn’t want in the house, and they would dispose of it, this included donating items to charitable organizations. Josh and Emily, the transaction coordinator, were great to deal with and so very kind and professional. The communication was ongoing, with Emily touching base with us often during the transaction. They made a very sad time in our lives stress free. In these complex times in the world, it was so amazing to deal with such an up and up honest business.

We are moving across the country next summer. We called Legere after trying a couple of other Cash for Homes companies. Matt and Kai were out to visit and just like that, we came to an equitable agreement. Just to know that we won't have to spend the winter painting and making improvements to make the house more marketable is such a relief. Knowing that we won't have to worry about cleaning up or removing the last few items after the movers load up also takes away a lot of stress. It's almost hard to believe how easy this has been and we have every confidence that all will go as planned.

At first I was skeptical to call a home buying company. I chose Leger Home Buyers as a family member had sold to them.
